Pullman Garden Club Winter Lecture

Spring has almost sprung, and now is the time to start thinking about your garden!

Please join the Historic Pullman Garden Club and the Historic Pullman Foundation for the third and final presentation in the garden club’s 2019 Winter Lecture Series:

 “21st Century Landscape Design Concepts for 22nd Century Homeowners”   

with Terry Guen, FASLA, Landscape Architect

Sunday March 24, 2019, at 3 pm at the Pullman National Monument Shared Visitor Information Center, 11141 S. Cottage Grove, Chicago IL 60628

This FREE event is open to everyone, refreshments will be served and there will be a door prize raffle. The Pullman Historic District can be reached by taking the 111th Street exit west off of I-94 or via the Metra Electric Train Line, exiting on the 111th St/Pullman stop. Terry Guen is the Principal and Founder of Terry Guen Design Associates. Terry’s 30 year practice, has brought ecology back to communities through high-profile technical landscape and urban design. Terry is designer of countless vital, iconic, cultural, ecological public spaces, which have improved the quality of life in local communities. As part of TGDA’s Common Good initiatives, Terry has served since 2011 as Presidential appointee to the Federal Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, and 2015 as Regional advisor for Cook County Forest Preserves.
